The important documents required for passport are:

- Electricity bill
- Water bill
- Income tax assessment order
- Gas connection proof
- Aadhaar Card
- Registered rent agreement
- Voter ID card
- Telephone bill (mobile or landline)
- Copy of your spouse’s passport (keep in mind that both of you must have current address matches)
- The passbook of your active bank account where the applicant’s photograph is taken care of (be aware that this is only public Sector private sector is applicable only to regional banks)

- Passport copy of your parent’s (if you are a minor applicants)
- Proof of your date of birth document
- Municipal birth certificate

◆ How to online apply for Passport?
You can also apply online for passport for which you you have to login their site which is www.passportindia.gov.in and register there, where you can create user id.
After which you can get an appointment or time slot from there to go to PSK.
When registering the users have to specify what type of application it is ie fresh or reissue, normal or tatkal, what type of passport is with it ie regular, diplomatic or official.
After this, users can also apply for Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) online and can get Identity Certificate. Whatever forms will be required, you will have to fill it and either submit it online or download it and then upload it later.

- Then you have to fill the Passport type information.
- After this, you have to fill the applicant details and click on ” Save My Details ” so that you have been filled Do not loose data . After this, you have to click on ” Next ” to proceed .
- Family details have to be filled here.
- Then present address details.

- After that references information.
- If you already have the details of the former Passport, then you can fill it as well.
