If you are a fan of college lacrosse, you must know which players make the top of the heap. This is a difficult task because of the numerous good players, but here are some of the top names in the game. These are: Matt Brandau, Logan Wisnaus, Brendan Nichtern, and Jessie Coffield.

Jessie Coffield was born in Alexandria, Virginia. She is the daughter of William and Kristen Coffield. She currently lives in Boston, Massachusetts.

While growing up, Jessie Coffield was very athletic. She was a member of an elite travel team. During her high school career, she was a member of the hockey and lacrosse teams. Throughout college, she played lacrosse as a member of the Boston College women’s team. As a captain, she led the team to victory in the NCAA tournament.

After graduation, Coffield decided to pursue a career in sports journalism. She interned with the NHL hockey team Washington Capitals.

The Boston Red Sox hired her as a sports reporter. Her work caught the attention of a sports news organization, and she was offered a sideline reporter job. This eventually led to a job with the Lax Sports Network.

In 2013, Coffield graduated from Boston College with a degree in communications. She has worked with CBT News and Revs TV.

Brendan Nichtern

If you are a fan of lacrosse, you likely know Brendan Nichtern. He is one of the top five college lacrosse players in the nation. The sophomore has become an important part of the Army Black Knights’ offensive success.

A year after averaging 2.5 goals and four assists, he is now averaging a team-high 3.3 points per game. And he is in the thick of the Patriot League points race, leading the league’s scoring leaders in both categories.

Not only is he an excellent scorer, but he is also a hard-nosed dodging attackman. Having a knack for finding a way to score, he has been named to the Tewaaraton Award Top 25.

Although he is unlikely to be the first overall pick in the next year’s draft, he was the ninth-overall selection in the PLL draft, and is one of the best college lacrosse players in the country. That’s a pretty good omen for the upcoming season.

Logan Wisnaus

A native of Sykesville, Maryland, Logan Wisnauskas started his career at Syracuse, but after only a year, he transferred back to Maryland and became an integral part of the Terps’ program. His success in College Park has been a testament to his work ethic, and he is now on track to reach the 300 point mark in his career.

As a fifth-year senior attackman, Wisnauskas is one of the most dangerous and consistent scorers in the country. He is a key player on a Maryland team that is looking to win its fourth National Championship. After a season that saw him notch 61 goals and 42 assists, he finished the year as the all-time leader in goals and points for the Terrapins.

Wisnauskas’ season also came with a number of accolades. In addition to leading the Terps to their fourth national title, he was named to the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year. And, he was selected to wear the legendary number one at Maryland.

Matt Brandau

One of the top five college lacrosse players in the country is Yale’s Matt Brandau. He’s been named the Ivy League’s Player of the Week. Despite taking two semesters off from school, Brandau is already a proven offensive option for the Bulldogs.

Brandau joined the program last fall, and has proven himself in his first year at Yale. The team’s leading point producer, he led the Bulldogs in goals with 99. Known for his strong ball carrying skills, he is an off-ball threat who shoots through the sticks and into the cage.

Brandau also leads the Ivy League in assists per game. The native of Timonium, Md., has already scored in every collegiate game, and has a career average of 3.50 goals and 2.17 assists.

Despite a slow start, Brandau has had two eight-point performances in the last three games. In addition to his strong offense, he has been a great off-ball threat and has found success in the transition.
